Valentines Day, Birthday!

Here is my little Kennedy ready for school on Friday, excited for her Valentine's Day party. (still a little tired, though!)

I saw this triple-heart hair-do on a website last year and was excited to try it out. She absolutely loved it!
And here are the kids excited for our traditional Valentine's "Fancy Dinner." They love using fancy cups for a fun drink. Kennedy set the table herself and made cute placecards. Steak and crablegs, thanks Dustin!

And because Valentine's Fancy Dinner isn't about fighting, this is what Hudson ate... :)

Dustin does such a great job with Valentines Day. The kids are always so excited to see his surprises set out for them that morning.
Here are Kennedy's...
Here are Hudson's...

And here are mine. Thanks Sweetie!
And Friday was my 29th birthday! I had such a great time. Dustin took the day off and we had fun going to lunch and running some errands together. That morning he and the kids gave me a Shark Steam mop, which I was ridiculously excited about, some treats (did you notice the one pound box of chocolates for V-Day, too? I will weigh about 300 lbs when this baby gets here. Serious.) and "Couple's Retreat" DVD.

Garret and Trulie came up to stay Friday night and we had so much fun hanging out with them. We went out for lunch, had a nap, and then went out for dinner and a movie, no kids! Woo hoo!

I was so touched by all the birthday wishes coming my way this weekend: Phone calls, messages with singing -love it- cards, and the most amazing blog post about me from my sister. It brought me to tears, Jenna, I was so touched. One of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. I love you too! Thank you to everyone who made my day special.

I'm a lucky girl!

You can still be a "girl" till you're 30, right?

My Little Valentines

Valentine pictures are one of my guilty pleasures with the kids: Not really necessary, but it's just so fun for me to make them kiss each other and wear red that I can't help it. I couldn't believe the cooperation a couple of Fun-Dips bought me this year. And of course, then there are the fun Valentine cards to turn them into...
They are so cute I can hardly stand it!

Webb Family Christmas Party

I've been hating myself every time, since this party that I have just had a nap when I had some quiet time instead of blogging about our fun family Christmas party. But you know what? I'm pregnant, I'm tired, so that's what's happening, like it or not! The good news is, I waited long enough and my mom and sister did all the work for me. I know its a total cop-out, but you can check it out here and here.

Thanks ladies!

Now, could someone please blog the Chambers Party, and my own pictures from Christmas here so I can be caught up?

And just because I hate posts that don't have pictures, here is this years card, probably old news to most of ya...

Happy Birthday Dustin and Mom!

My sweet hubby and my awesome mom share a birthday today!
My mom is one of my very favorite people in the whole world. She is so kind, loving, supportive, and not to mention beautiful! She has always been my greatest example, and it is my all-time favorite compliment when someone tells me I remind them of my mom.
Love you, Mom!
So, Dustin, the big 3-0 today. Crazy! Remember almost half your lifetime ago when we met? That was pretty much the day I fell in love with you, and you still are the best thing that ever happened to me. The way you take care of me and the kids is more than I could have hoped for. Do you know that Kennedy actually had a list for when we went birthday shopping for you? I couldn't afford most of the stuff on it, but you are a GREAT daddy and it shows. Not a day goes by that I don't think, wow, have I got the best husband. I hope you know how much you mean to me! And just look at him, folks. No wonder my kids are so adorable, right???

Have a great day, my two favorite people!

Thanksgiving, big news!

I'm a little behind on my blogging, (obviously!) but we had a crazy few weeks, starting with the weekend of November 20th, which was our 10 year Anniversary! Dustin wisked me away, to Salt Lake, where we spent 2 blissful, kid-free nights at the Marriot. We had so much fun being together and talking with no interruptions ( "mommy I need more chocolate milk" and "can you start Diego?" and "can you tie this string to Lightnin' so he can pull Mater?" is usually what we are listening to at our house). We saw New Moon on opening day with all the rest of the screaming idiots, although NOT at midnight this time. I loved it. Although it's really not right that Jacob is hotter than Edward. Oh well.
We got all of our Christmas shopping done, including a big present for me: the 27" iMac I've been lusting after for so long. (No, that's not the big news. Keep reading...) It's not true what they say about money not buying happiness. This computer is such a joy! Thank you so much Dustin, you spoil me so much! Love you! Also, thanks so much to Grandma Josie and Grandpa Jay for babysitting, you're the best!

The next weekend was Thanksgiving, so we were on the road again, headed to Smithfield for Chambers Thanksgiving. We are getting big with quite a few active kiddos, so we went the church route this year. It was so perfect, the kids ran and played and didn't break anything.

Quite the Feast!

Hudson and Kade, little buddies.

Kennedy with her placemat, the kids worked on them while we finished up the food.

The best part about having the church? The multiple games of Lightning (Dustin was the champ) and Volleyball. So fun!

Here are all the Chambers Grandkids with Grandma Marcia.
See why we need a church?

My favorite part of this weekend was telling the family that there would be one more little one around next Thanksgiving.

That's right, I'm pregnant!

As of today (Dec 18) I'm 13 weeks along. My due date is June 22, 2010.

We couldn't be more excited, and thankful!

(I'm also feeling pretty yucky...but getting better, I think, so bear with me on the slow blog updates...)

Our pretty girl

Kennedy brought home her school pictures on Friday, and I have to say, I'm delighted!
I think they turned out so darling!

I can't believe she is seven, she is just getting too grown-up. She is definitely my easy child right now, the only time she gives us much trouble is when Hudson has finally pushed her too far...I can't believe how well he can push her buttons, it's probably his greatest talent...

She is so helpful and happy, and I can't believe how smart she is. She is reading at a third grade level right now, and loves to read to herself in bed at night. She is almost finished reading Heidi (an easy version, but still!) and her next selection is The Secret Garden. I love that she is reading all of my favorites from when I was young. She is always so excited and happy when she gets home from school, full of stories and loves to tell me about everything in her backpack and what happened on the bus that day. I really hope she keeps that enthusiasm her whole life!

And just for fun, here is a picture of me I found the other day, at Kennedy's exact age. Wow. I don't think she looks anyhing like me. Good thing she has a good-lookin' Dad...

Shelli, circa 1987...I'm sure this was taken after several recesses...
